Tom Schnitzius - Partner
Prior to co-founding Acquest in 1987, Tom was CEO of Schnitzius & Co., an investment banking firm. From 1975 to 1983, he was a principal in the investment banking firm of Curtin & Co., Inc., which focused on middle market merger and acquisition transactions and on private placements. From 1968 to 1975, Tom was employed at Telecom Corp., a public company, where he served as Vice President responsible for corporate acquisitions and dispositions. He also was Vice President and COO of Texas Capital Corp., a subsidiary engaged in venture capital investing.
Tom is a native Houstonian. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame, receiving a B.B.A. in finance, and from the University of Texas School of Law, earning a J.D.

Chuck Zabriskie - Partner
Tom joined Acquest in 2006 to focus on providing financial advisory services to companies and their owners in the chemical and energy industries. He has 28 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, business development and M&A transactions. He was a partner of McKinsey & Company, where for 12 years he served energy industry clients on their strategic and operation challenges. Tom was also CFO and SVP Business Development for Pennzoil-Quaker State Company. Prior to joining Acquest, he led corporate strategy and business development for Cooper Industries.
Tom is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He received in MBA from Drexel University.
Chuck joined Acquest in September 2007, bringing 25 years of banking and energy industry experience focused broadly on the energy sector and in recent years on natural gas, LNG and power. He has advised on acquisitions and divestitures and raised capital for numerous clients in these sectors in leadership roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS and a predecessor of JPMorgan Chase. Recent assignments include: advisor to Gulf LNG Energy, sell-side advisor for the Bobcat gas storage and Caledonia gas storage developments, financial advisor to Freeport LNG as well as other LNG receiving terminals, acquisition financing for several midstream assets and monetization of various energy assets for private equity sponsors.
Chuck is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics.
Kapil joined Acquest in 2008. He has experience in financial advisory, strategy consulting, business development and M&A transactions. Kapil started his career with McKinsey & Company in Houston, and was an advisor to the Chairman and CEO at Dell prior to business school. Kapil was also an investment associate with MSD Capital and Diker Management. He has advised clients in transactions in the energy, distribution, technology and manufacturing sectors.
Kapil is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Business Honors and Finance, and he earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Roxanna joined Acquest in November 2007 to manage the administrative and office functions of the firm. She joins Acquest with 4 years of financial industry experience on both the East and West coasts. Roxanna is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Texas A&M University.
